- Thousands of One

All agree that seeing Thousands of One perform live is where it's at, though they say it isn't about "seeing" the band...When you attend a Thousands of One concert, it's more like "being" the band.
The vocals of Jhakeem Haltom have left audiences captivated. His ability to transition smoothly between searing conscious Hiphop verse, soulful melodic choruses, preaching the gospel, embarking on spontaneous trance-induced operatic themes and at times that of a tonal instrument devoid of words, yet sounding something like a cross between an Indian flute and a kora, is a journey unto itself. The instrumentation uses an intensely dynamic balance of both tasteful scarcity and busyness, driven by the incredibly adept bass and drum section, Brent Eva and Joel Blizzard respectively, who convey with ferocious devotion, the deepest and heaviest rhythms possible, to demand that people dance. Every song is peppered with catchy hooks hanging around every corner that linger on. The players are seasoned listeners, able to bring out the subtle awesomeness that music can be! Mark Wienand, on tenor, soprano, baritone sax and flute, stands out as one of those rare horn players that can carry the energy of a three-part section and solo with a voice that is equal to the singer. Never ceasing to reinterpret an arrangement or an established riff in order to reach the audience, while maintaining loyalty to the voicing of the song work, THOUSANDS OF ONE are charismatic and engaging performers, capable of playing anywhere from your living room to an arena.

- Start, Go! is a rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. They will play your club, your house, your boat, your penthouse, your stadium and everywhere in between. Risen from the ashes of a million other bands, they met as their light grey flakes danced in the frigid air of the upper atmosphere where they conjoined to create a fierce thunderstorm that laid waste to all that came before and provided sustenance for the new.

- YARN

Yarn owes as much to Gram Parsons and Earl Scruggs as to Jerry Garcia and Exile On Main Street-era Rolling Stones. Following in a fine tradition that includes forward thinking roots bands like The Flying Burrito Brothers, New Riders of The Purple Sage and Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Yarn weaves roots musical idioms into a fresh, exciting sound that turns on hipsters and country fans alike with technically impressive song-crafting and universal tales from the road of life.
Yarn’s newest release, Come On In, (UFO, 2010) is a record of longing, of loss and of picking up and moving on. As with most great American music that is rooted in the blues, there is still hope and a glimpse of light at the end of the day. Come On In is Yarn’s third recording. Their self-titled debut record reached No. 14 on the AMA and R&R Radio Charts, and ranked No. 79 on the AMA’s Top 100 Albums of 2007. Yarn’s 2008 follow-up, Empty Pockets, spent months in the AMA charts. The album peaked at No. 5 and was honored with eight first round 2009 Grammy nominations in several categories.
The Boatment

Inspired by rock, folk, motown, bluegrass and country, the Boatmen are hard to classify. This is what makes a Boatmen show such an organic, energizing, and constantly evolving experience. This 4-part harmony driven chameleon first formed in just 2009, but have have already shared the stage with notable acts such as Perpetual Groove, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Keller Williams and Afroman. Hailing... from Beckley, WV, the group features Randy Gilkey, Nick Durm, Matt Mullins and Rob Gross and are currently recording their debut album. Previous recordings have including the talents of members of ALO, Jackie Greene, and Tim Bluhm of the Motherhips. 4-time Grammy winner David Holt says "These guys are smokin'!"
